Vanessza Csonka
Vanessza Csonka was born in Mór and educated at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest. In 2010 she received the 2nd prize at the ballet competition in Istanbul. Since 2012 she is a member of the Vienna State Ballet. Her repertoire comprises Big Swan in Rudolf Nureyev‘s »Swan Lake«, friend of princess Aurora in Peter Wrightʼs »The Sleeping Beauty«, Bathilde in Elena Tschernischovaʼs »Giselle« as well as parts in William Forsytheʼs »Artifact Suite«, Kenneth MacMillanʼs »Concerto«, Rudolf Nureyev‘s »The Nutcracker«, »Don Quixote« and »Raymonda«, Helen Pickettʼs »Eventide«, George Balanchineʼs »Symphony in C«, »Theme and Variations« and »Jewels«, Jerome Robbins’ »The Four Seasons« and »Glass Pieces«, John Neumeierʼs »Josephs Legende« and »Le Sacre«, John Crankoʼs »Onegin«, Frederick Ashtonʼs »La Fille mal gardée«, Edward Clugʼs »Peer Gynt«, Pierre Lacotteʼs »Coppélia«, Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire« and »Sylvia« and works by Martin Schläpfer , among others, »4«, »Symphony Nr. 15«, »Marsch, Walzer, Polka«, »The Seasons « and »The Sleeping Beauty«.
