Tommaso Lepore
The Italian Tommaso Lepore completed his piano diploma at the Conservatorio N. Sala in Benevento with Prof. Gabriella Sisillo in 2006. He furthered his education with master classes under Pier Narciso Masi, Konstantin Bogino, Robert Kettelson, the Nuovo Quartetto Italiano, Michele Campanella, and Homero Francesch. From 2006 to 2008, he pursued a master's degree in piano at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome with Prof. Franco Medori, as well as a master's degree in musical performance at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Prof. Filippo Gamba. In 2014, he began his career as a solo repetiteur at the Bremen Theater. From 2017, he was engaged as a repetiteur at the Landestheater Linz. In 2019, he recorded the song cycle Winterreise by Franz Schubert for Preiser Records with baritone Martin Achrainer. Since the 2020/21 season, Tommaso Lepore has been working as a repetiteur at the Vienna State Opera. He has collaborated on numerous opera productions under various conductors, including Marco Armiliato, Nicola Luisotti, Giacomo Sagripanti, Bertrand de Billy, Philippe Jordan, and Markus Poschner. He is a prizewinner of several piano competitions in Italy and Switzerland. In 2008, the Lazio region awarded him for the best piano graduation of the year. His concert activities to date include numerous solo recitals and chamber music concerts primarily in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, including performances at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the concert hall of the Stadtcasino Basel, and the LAC in Lugano. As an accompanist, he has been active in various master classes in Italy, Switzerland, and Austria.
