Olivia Poropat

The Viennese Olivia Poropat received her education at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera and graduated with distinction and diploma in 2018. In 2017/18 she was awarded as »Best Student«. Further awards comprise the VIBE Special Jury Award (2016), First Prizes at the European Ballet Grand Prix (2017 & 2019), Finalist at the YAGP 2017 New York and 2^nd Prize at theTallinn International Ballet Competition. Moreover, she took part in Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive NYC, International Masterclasses in Zagreb (Croatia) and Summer schools of the Hungarian Dance Academy, Balletto di Roma, Dancearts Boris Nebyla Wien, Ecole de danse de l’Opera National de Paris and Royal Ballet Summer Intensive Covent Garden. In 2018/19 she has been a member of the Juniorcompany of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. In 2019 she has been employed at the Vienna State Ballet. Her repertoire comprises Vesna Orlić’s »Peter Pan« (Tigerlily) and »Carmina Burana«, Rudolf Nureyev’s »Swan Lake« and »The Nutcracker«, Elena Tchernichova’s »Giselle«, Mouse in Lotte de Beer's & Andrey Kaydanovskiy's »Jolanthe and the Nutcracker«, Karole Armitageʼs »Ligeti Essays«, Paul Taylorʼs »Dandelion Wine« as well as Martin Schläpferʼs »4«, »Sinfonie Nr. 15«, »Ein Deutsches Requiem«, »The Seasons« and »Drittes Klavierkonzert«. Furthermore, she performed in musicals, operettas and operas at the Volksoper Wien as well as operas in the Vienna State Opera.
