Laura Cislaghi

Laura Cislaghi was born in Cuggiono (Italy). She was educated at the Scuola di Ballo del Teatro alla Scala and the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. Since 2016 she is a member of the Vienna State Ballet. Her most important roles include big swan and noble woman in Rudolf Nureyevʼs »Swan Lake«, the night in Pierre Lacotteʼs »Coppélia«, page and the cat in Martin Schläpferʼs »The Sleeping Beauty«, solo elf in Thierry Malandain’s »Cendrillon«, Liseʼs friend in Frederick Ashtons »La Fille mal gardée«, parts in the world premiere of Pontus Lidberg's »Between Dogs and Wolves«, William Forsytheʼs »In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated«, Lucinda Child's »Concerto« and in Merce Cunningham's »Duets«. Furthermore, she was dancing in Elena Tchernichovaʼs »Giselle«, Rudolf Nureyevʼs »The Nutcracker«, John Cranko’s »Onegin«, Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire« and »Sylvia«, George Balanchine’s »Jewels« and »Symphony in C«, William Forsythe’s »Artifact Suite«, John Neumeier’s »Le Sacre« and «Lady of the Camellias«, Jerome Robbins’ »Glass Pieces« and »The Concert« and Paul Taylor's »Promethean Fire«.
