Kirill Monereo de la Sota
Kirill Monereo de la Sota received his training at the Escuela de danza Víctor Ullate in Madrid from 2012 to 2017 and at the École de danse de l’Opéra de Paris from 2017, graduating in 2021. Complementing his training, he participated in several Summer Intensives at the Royal Ballet School London and the International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague. In the fall of 2021, a three-month residency took him to the Dutch National Ballet Academy Amsterdam, where he also danced in Ted Brandsen’s Mata Hari with Het Nationale Ballet. As of November 2021, Kirill Monereo de la Sota was a member of the Royal Swedish Ballet. Having already danced roles in Marius Petipa’s The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty, August Bournonville’s Conservatoire, Pierre Lacotte’s Coppélia and Harald Lander’s Études during his training, he performed in Stockholm in Rudolf Nureyev’s Swan Lake and Don Quixote, Roland Petit’s Carmen, and Tamara Rojo’s Cinderella. Since the 2023/24 season he has been a member of the Corps de ballet of the Vienna State Ballet.
