Johannes Daniel Schneider

Born in Wels and raised in Germany, Johannes Daniel Schneider received his training at the Musikgymnasium Schloss Belvedere Weimar and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. He is currently studying opera coaching at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien under Andreas Henning. He has also drawn artistic inspiration from Christian W. Müller, Martin Hughes, and Jörg Birhance.

In the 2024/25 season, Johannes Daniel Schneider will serve as a repetiteur in the Opera Studio of the Wiener Staatsoper, having found his calling in opera after focusing extensively on chamber music, particularly with Raphael Zinner and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and on solo performances. He is also connected with the Sirene Operntheater through his roles as repetiteur and musical assistant at the Vienna Masterclasses and the Heidenheim Opera Festival.

Johannes Daniel Schneider is a scholarship recipient of the »Juetting-Stiftung«.
