Isabella Knights
The English dancer Isabella Knights graduated from the Royal Ballet School London in 2017. In 2014 she won the Valerie Adams Award for »Outstanding talent in musicality and performance« and was a finalist in the Young British Dancer of the Year competition. During her education she gained first stage experiences in Peter Wright’s »The Nutcracker« and Kenneth MacMillan’s »Anastasia« with the Royal Ballet. As a member of the Bavarian State Ballet Corps de ballet under Igor Zelensky, she danced from 2017 to 2020 in classical and contemporary choreographies such as John Neumeier’s »A Midsummer Night’s Dream«, John Cranko’s »Onegin«, Christopher Wheeldon’s »Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland«, Christian Spuck’s »Anna Karenina«, Patrice Bart’s »La Bayadère«, George Balanchine’s »Jewels«, Nanina Linning’s »Duo« and Yuri Grigorovich’s »Spartacus«. Since the 2020/21 season Isabella Knights has been a member of the Corps de ballet of the Vienna State Ballet. Her Viennese repertoire comprises George Balanchine's »Jewels«, »Symphony in Three Movements« and »Symphony in C«, Jerome Robbins' »Glass Pieces« and »The Concert«, Elena Tchernichova's »Giselle« as well as Martin Schläpfer's »4«, »Symphony Nr. 15«, »The Seasons « and »The Sleeping Beauty«.
