Hyejin Han

The Korean soprano Hyejin Han was born in 2000 in Daegu. She completed her bachelor's degree in classical singing at Seoul National University, studying under Attila Jun and Hyungwook Lee. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a master's degree at the Berlin University of the Arts under the guidance of Prof. Deborah York. In 2022, she was awarded the 3rd prize at the Korean Broadcasting System KEPCO Music Competition. In 2021, she performed the role of Olympia in Les contes d’Hoffmann at the SNU Cultural Center Grand Theater. Additionally, she has been supported by the Hyundai Motor Jung Mong-gu Scholarship Foundation since 2021 and was a member of the Ondream Ensemble of the same foundation until 2023.

Starting in the 2024/25 season, Hyejin Han will be a member of the Opernstudio at the Vienna State Opera.
