ELENA MAXIMOVA completed her studies in singing at the Tschaikowski-Conservatoire in Moscow and became a soloist at the Moscow Stanislawski Music-Theatre in 2000. She has performed at the most important stages: at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and in Tokyo as Preziosilla; in Amsterdam as Olga in Eugen Onegin; at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo, at the Opera in Dresden, at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and in Munich as Carmen; at the St. Gallen Festival as Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust; at the Stanislawski Opera as Charlotte, Rosina, Carmen, Polina, Despina, Isabella; at the Metropolitan Opera in New York as Olga and Giulietta; at the Finnish National opera; as Charlotte at the New National Theatre Tokyo and as Polina at the Opera Roma. Future performances are taking her among others to Tokyo (Carmen), to the Met (Olga in Eugen Onegin), the Opéra National de Paris as Maddalena in Rigoletto. At the Wiener Staatsoper she gave her debut in 2012 as Carmen and has also sung here among others, Maddalena, Olga, Cherubino, Marfa, Eboli, Rosina, Polina.
