Rosa Feola

The Italian soprano ROSA FEOLA attracted international attention when she won the Second Prize, the Audience Prize and the Zarzuela Prize at Plácido Domingo's Operalia Competition in 2010. Since her acclaimed debut as Corinna (Il viaggio a Reims) under Kent Nagano, she has performed at many renowned opera houses. Her most recent engagements include her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York as Gilda (Rigoletto), Il turco in Italia at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Gilda at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Zurich Opera House, where she also appeared in Il turco in Italia, La finta giardiniera and as Liù (Turandot), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) and Musetta (La bohème) at the Bavarian State Opera, Violetta (La traviata) at the Fenice in Venice, Juliette (Roméo et Juliette) in Washington, Liù in Naples, as well as productions at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, in Glyndebourne and at the Teatro Real in Madrid. She made her debut at the Vienna State Opera in 2016 as Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), where she also sang Gilda.
